Ireland 2011
On August 17, we will move to Adare Manor in Limerick, a spectacular five star resort, complete with a luxurious spa and a host of outdoor activities including horseback riding and fishing, and, of course, another world-class, championship golf course. Adare Manor is within easy reach of the lovely town of Adare, “Ireland’s prettiest village,” a perfect place for sightseeing and relaxing and maybe enjoying a pint or two.
Pricing for the trip will be announced soon, but we believe our pricing will be so attractive that anyone who wants to spend seven days in the Emerald Isle with some great company will want to join us. From August 13 through August 20, 2011, Mass ABOTA and other eastern ABOTA chapters will be traveling to Ireland for our first meeting of East-ABOTA. We hope to have members from every eastern chapter of ABOTA with us. Of course, all ABOTA members and their families are welcome to join us. We will begin our Irish adventure at the luxurious Killarney Park Hotel, pictured here. This will be our home from August 13 - 17 of 2011. Between an arduous meeting schedule, we will squeeze in a few rounds of golf at world-famous venues like Killarney Killeen (home of the Irish Open), Tralee, and Old Head in Kinsale (where we have challenged a group of Irish barristers to a match play tournament). For non-golfers, there will be trips to the famed Ring of Kerry, the Dingle Peninsula and Blarney Castle.
