Incoming Vice President Marty Foster hosted our Annual Dinner meeting at the Algonquin Club, which was very well attended.  Lieutenant Governor Timothy Murray gave the Keynote address, in which he recognized ABOTA’s efforts to strengthen and preserve the right to a civil jury trial, despite the current budget difficulties that are straining the judiciary’s budget.  HArry Widmann, NAtional ABOTA President-Elect,  came from New Orleans to help us inaugurate our new officers, and to make all present honorary members of “Whodat Nation” by handing out Mardi Gras beads.  Our adopted NFL team won the Superbowl by defeating the Colts two days later.
